Good News To and From India

Andrew Palau and ten Next Generation Alliance® evangelists spoke at more than 100 events in eleven cities and villages in the Tiruvallur District in South India in early February, 2007. Nearly ninety team members came from at least six countries to share the Good News of Jesus. In the first week of outreach the Gospel was shared with more than 72,000 people, with 7,100 of those making first-time decisions for Jesus Christ.

SWIM is working with nearly 400 churches in the city of Bukavu in Eastern DR Congo to conduct Arise and Shine Congo! Festival of Hope this summer. After eight years of war, economic and social conflict, the people in the region are thirsty for the Gospel message of hope and restoration. The SWIM team led by Evangelist Sammy Wanyonyi will minister to an estimated 100,000 people at the local soccer stadium. Please pray with us to bring in a great harvest for our Lord Jesus Christ during the Festival in Bukavu, DR Congo!

Words can not describe how much the Lord used the united effort in India to impact the community and bring about real life change and commitment to Christ. Our staff consisting of Keith and Joan Cook and Jimmy Earle ministered in Poonamallee and Chennai, India. We were able to share the good news in an area-wide festival; teach in an Innovative Evangelist Conference; and lead a Pastor's Training, Women On The Go Conference, and a Youth On The Go Meeting. God also gave us various opportunities to minister in local schools, orphanages, churches, and much more.

Individuals and Families Come to Faith and Healing

While our team ministered in Tamil Nadu, South India, we saw many families and individuals make decisions for Jesus Christ. One of the most exciting things for me during this trip was to see many families come to faith in Christ together at the festivals. There were many times where the entire family came forward at the invitation to receive Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

God used our team in a mighty way to equip over 500 church leaders as our teaching focus was: casting evangelistic vision for the Church, relying on the Holy Spirit for power, direction and fruit in ministry, the importance of unity in the Church, equipping and raising up new leaders. Throughout the crusade, many people were healed or delivered and prayed over for various needs. Pray that the Lord will continue to bring revival to India and will pour out His Spirit in even greater measure.

Need Ideas for Reaching Seekers and Skeptics?

Here's an outreach article from Rusty Wright on a need that everyone faces:

Forgiveness, Reconciliation and You. Ever been cheated or mistreated? Got any lingering grudges? Any unclear air between you and a family member, neighbor or coworker? Many doctors and social scientists extol the personal and societal benefits of forgiveness and reconciliation. Some inspiring case studies. Click on this link to view the full article.

Impact World Tour Ohio

We are currently working on a State-wide campaign in Ohio. The vision is that in the next 4-5 years, Lord willing we are working towards going right across the whole state with a relevant presentation of the Gospel.

Currently we are just days away from the commencement of a 6 week evangelistic tour of the North-West Region of Ohio this coming Spring. On April 13th, we will be holding the first event of the 40 Evangelistic events that are currently scheduled throughout this region. We are partnered with over 150 churches in 17 cities, with 21 venues booked to host our ministry teams. God is doing a great work in this region; the locals are saying that this is the largest evangelistic effort since Billy Sunday preached here in the early 1900's.

We will be correlating the data for the next PEN Newsletter. In order for events and articles to be included in the upcoming PEN Newsletter, we have set Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 12:00 noon central time as the deadline. We will try to run as many articles as possible, but we can not guarantee that your article will be included in the upcoming PEN

3) WebLink to an article or webpage describing full detail of ministry event, article, or training opportunity

Below you will find a list of qualifications for data that will be included in the PEN Newsletter.

1) The PEN Newsletter will not include any information regarding Fund Raising for your ministry. This is not the role of this newsletter.

3) All other information will be included only upon a space availability basis. We will rank importance according to PEN guidelines.

We look forward to working with you so that others may know how they can be more actively involved in your ministry. Again, please remember that we can not promise to enter an article on every ministry that submits information, but we will make an attempt to include as much information as we possibly can, yet keep the newsletter concise and informative as well.
